Aetheres Emporium

January 2022 I needed a public face for Aetheres and I was the staff. First version was React, fast enough, clean enough, mine. As the shop grew I moved it toward Next.js 13, Docker, Tailwind, a DigitalOcean box, MySQL, Redis. Not because a blog said to. Because I was tired of the brochure lying about how big we were.

I owned the type, the hosting, the schema. Sprints were just how I talked to myself on Sundays. This is the through-line to Zafriya. Years of being the only person on a live store teaches you which fires are decorative.

The later shops are sharper. This is where the habit started. If you want the long version of how I work alone on commerce, this is the boring heroic part: keep it up, keep iterating, do not wait for a team that is not coming.
